The Thank a Volunteer Day event was a fantastic success, bringing together our amazing community members to celebrate and appreciate the invaluable contributions of our volunteers. Their dedication and hard work are what make Wongan-Ballidu a connected, thriving community.

Guests were treated to a delicious buffet featuring hearty meat and gravy rolls from WB Family Meats, fresh salads, and a beautiful cake from Marlee’s Morish Morsels.  Amanda Chapman, representing Tidy Towns (Community Group of the Year 2025), had the honour of cutting the cake alongside Cr Mandy Stephenson.

Cr Mandy Stephenson gave a heartfelt speech, thanking all the volunteers for their continued service and dedication. She highlighted the significant impact volunteers have on shaping and strengthening our community.

The atmosphere was made even more special by Georgie Sadler, who provided wonderful live music throughout the afternoon, creating a relaxed and welcoming environment where guests could enjoy food, great company, and meaningful conversations.

This event served as a beautiful reminder of the vital role volunteers play in our Shire. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do!

A big thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a memorable occasion!
