The Shire of Wongan-Ballidu is pleased to be involved with a joint-venture workforce housing investigation study being undertaken in conjunction with the North Eastern Wheatbelt Regional Organisation of Councils (NEWROC) and the Wheatbelt Development Commission. This survey aims to collate the data to assist building the evidence base needed to formulate a feasibility study, with economic modelling and cost benefit analysis, with the intent to inform the development of a business case for future funding opportunities for regional housing investment.
To help understand housing needs, we would like input from the business community, farming enterprise, workers and other interested community members.
